After all the damage I've done, it's only right to use my powers for a little reconstructive work on the Gems I've hurt. In particular, she commanded her now-disbanded military and oversaw Gem production on her colonies. She was first shown in the extended theme song before making her official debut in " Message Received ". As a result of Era 3 , Yellow now works to repair Gems she had previously shattered in her Cluster experiments and wishes to use her powers to help other Gems alter their physical form if they choose to do so. As one of the rulers of Homeworld , Yellow Diamond's of massive size, her height dwarfing almost all other Gems. She has light yellow skin and she has black markings around her eyes, dark yellow eyeshadow, bright yellow eyes with diamond-shaped pupils and black eyebrows, and short, helmet-like bob yellow hair with two spiked tips. Yellow Diamond wears a dark yellow and olive bodysuit, a yellow coat with enormous shoulder pads and a cutout for her gemstone, yellow gloves, and olive-yellow, high-heeled boots. As shown in her debut, Homeworld reputes Yellow Diamond as a perfectly logical and rational leader, though in reality, she is vindictive and quick to anger. When her followers contacted her but failed, she is rather annoyed but will offer them multiple chances to redeem themselves, as shown with Peridot and one of her Nephrites. Yellow is shown to have a blunt and "down-to-business" attitude, taking over the call Peridot was having with her Pearl to get the message that the former had quickly.
Yellow Diamond then smashes Steven into the ground, knocking him unconscious.
From the thinnest flake of mica to the deepest, hardest stone, we all must make sacrifices for the sake of our perfect empire! The first Diamond to be mentioned and the second to make an appearance. She commands Homeworld's military, is in charge of the Cluster geo-weapon project, and is the yellow Gem depicted on the mural from "Serious Steven". She briefly appears in the extended theme song , and premieres properly in "Message Received". The flashback from Pink's point-of-view showed Yellow being cold and distant towards her, treating her like a nuisance while she was planning an invasion, and implying she doesn't view Pink as an equal, throwing an Acting Your Intellectual Age question at her younger Cheerful Child fellow Diamond. However, "Familiar" reveals that Pink always managed to make her laugh, implying that Yellow wasn't all cold towards her. Anger Born of Worry : While she legitimately cares for Blue and Pink, the only ways she seems to know how to show her concern is to put on a professional face and reprimand them, upgrading to anger when it persists.

This is a list of known locations on the Gem Homeworld and other planets controlled by Gems. Homeworld appears to be split into two sections: an upper level and a lower level. The lower level the surface of Homeworld is barren and lifeless, likely because the Homeworld Kindergarten drained the life force out of the planet. The upper level is where modern day Homeworld cities and structures appear. Homeworld is home to a highly advanced capital city, which appears to cover almost the entire surface of the planet. The architecture of the city is very geometric, with brightly coloured buildings appearing to have been stacked on top of each other as the city grew upwards. Some architectural style remains from Era 1, such as the varius inverted pyramids seen on pillars which are identical to the Pyramid Temple on Earth. At the bottom of one of the skyscrapers are cell-like structures, very similar to those seen underneath the Ancient Sky Arena.

Visual Pun : She represses her emotions and grief for Pink Diamond's death by bottling them up and hardening her own heart, symbolized by her gemstone lying in the center of her armor-like chest. Basically she has a hard time understanding something existing for the sake of it rather than serving a specific purpose. She tries to heal Nephrite when Steven requests her to do so but the attempt fails. Walking the Earth : After she is defeated at the end of the game, she has a Villainous Breakdown and goes on a journey of self-discovery to learn for herself if her superiors were right or wrong about her being perfect. Yellow and Blue attach their ships to the Diamond Mech, and Steven forces it to kneel and listen. This article is about the character. As the ball begins, Yellow Pearl announces Yellow's entrance to the crowd, and she compliments Steven on having a big turnout. Pearl, do something. She is a Homeworld Garnet. Interestingly enough, sketches show that she was designed with a star motif which up until that point was used for heroes rather than villains. Ironically, in "Bubbled", Eyeball is so determined not to be fooled again that she doesn't believe Steven when he's telling her the truth. Even when she returns in "The Trial", she has nothing but contempt for him. Blue reminds White that they all used to be close and that Pink's seemingly meaningless actions were to try and keep them together and happy. Five Stages of Grief : Has a foot firmly in the "Denial" and "Anger" stages of grief, wanting to remove every trace of Pink Diamond so she doesn't have to think about her and feel the sadness that comes from her loss. And when Sapphire makes up a false story on getting more humans for Pink Diamond's human zoos, she's inspired to come up with a solution to remedy Blue Diamond's grief though possibly at the cost of Earth.

Red Herring : When Blue Zircon concludes that only a Diamond could have enabled Pink Diamond's assassination, Yellow begins destroying all witnesses and demands "Rose's" swift execution. Their prominent noses were based on Jughead Jones. This Emerald had her ship stolen from her, and all attempts to reclaim it result in her simply floundering. However, "Familiar" reveals that Pink always managed to make her laugh, implying that Yellow wasn't all cold towards her. Vengeance Feels Empty : While she doesn't acknowledge it directly like Blue, her thoughts while fighting the Crystal Gems are not of satisfaction at finally crushing the last remnants of the group that caused Pink's alleged death, but of calm reproach to herself for causing the situation in the first place by giving Pink her colony. At the end of the episode, she is seen with everyone else, glad to see Steven back to normal. Irony : She prides herself on being a living example of what a homeworld solider should be However, this Pearl is obnoxiously arrogant and pompous in stark contrast to Blue Diamond's Pearl, who is quiet and demure. The Comically Serious : Her stern, no-nonsense attitude combined with her lack of knowledge of Earth customs become a source of hilarity in the "Diamond Days" arc. After he flees, she sends Shattering Robonoids after him. She tells Steven that "White never leaves her head these days" or lets anyone in, except Pink, which she believes to be unfair given how many colonies she owns and Pink only having one failed colony. The Crystal Gems eventually decide just leaving them floating in space would be too cruel, and so decide to eventually do something about it, but as of "Room for Ruby", it looks like Navy's likely to retrieve them.
