I have just purchased a new YZf, and was looking for a recommendation on oil. I will be mainly riding tracks here in SoCal, so advice on frequency would be helpful as well I figure every 2 rides. I use Bel-Ray Semi Synthetic myself, only because the shifting was slightly better than WR, but I'll be the first to say that I could be spending less and getting the same result.

I have an 09 YZF and no manual. I need to change the oil, but I'm not sure how much to put in it. And it doesn't say on the engine casing like it does on other bikes. The manual says nothing about where the oil line should be in the oil window. I am glad someone asked this question. I just bought an '06 and plan to change the oil and filter today.
