Andy Allo born January 13, is a Cameroonian-American singer-songwriter, guitarist and actress. She had a recurring role in three episodes of the comedy-drama series The Game in , followed by a number of other roles, including a supporting role in the film Pitch Perfect 3 and the lead role of Nora in Amazon Prime 's series Upload Born in Bamenda , Northwest Region , Cameroon , Allo developed an interest in music at an early age; her mother taught her to play the piano at age seven. She is the youngest of five siblings. Allo's reputation as a musician led her to a role as a singer and guitarist in American musician Prince 's band, the New Power Generation , in Superconductor was released on 20 November , and the album debuted at number one on Amazon. She also appeared on three songs on Prince's album Art Official Age , in "Breakdown", she sings background vocals, and on both "What It Feels Like" and "Time", she sings co-lead vocals.

Music has always been a part of the boundlessly creative songstress who is influenced by soul mavens such as Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill and Jill Scott. Even before she could speak those who knew her were mesmerized by the little girl with tight curls who at any given moment would throw her head back and let out her perfect baby scat. She has not put her beloved companion down since. Allo has already created a number of songs for her sophomore album, which she promises will be a personal rendition of her life since she wrote UnFresh- honest accounts of a young woman navigating the music world.
