We have been working since in partnership with other youth organizations to strengthen the ecosystem for youth development, and for citizenship in India to influence and impact the destinies of youth. Our work stems from the belief that youth development and citizenship is integral to our social structures and processes. It is through the leadership, energy, passion and commitment of the young people that a world of peace, justice and equality can be built. As a space, we allow for young Change Leaders and youth workers alike to bring and utilize their experiences in the field in order to advocate for creating an empowering space for youth in society. In the coming years, we would like to see the Youth Development space grow and expand.

While phase 1 of the project focused on constitutional literacy and strengthening youth leadership in society, commutiny, after its spectacular success, Phase 2 commutiny launched in in the middle of the challenging pandemic.

Founded in , ComMutiny - The Youth Collective is a community of practice of youth work organizations across India, engaged in aggregating, accelerating and amplifying empowering youth spaces co-led with self-aware, pro-active citizens- we call Jagriks Jagruk Nagariks. In , recognizing the need for mainstreaming youth-centric development across all sectors, we incubated the vartaLeap coalition. It is a cross-sectoral grouping of youth engaging organizations from the development sector, government, media, corporate, educational institutions, and UN agencies. The purpose of the coalition is to design, pilot and scale youth—centric innovations and enable narrative shifts with thought leadership coming from years of wisdom from our members.

I am passionate about nurturing and sustaining volunteering energy in different ecosystems and spaces through lean systems, inspiring storytelling, co-created innovations and learning together. I have an experience of over 6 years in the social development space. I am a development sector professional previously working as a Senior Associate with the Aam Aadmi Party. Previously, I have worked in the social sector for 3 years. I have done my B. Anjani's profound connection to the development sector is evident with a keen focus on mental health, women's rights, youth leadership, and restorative justice. Currently serving on the programs team at CYC, Anjani brings a wealth of passion and expertise to her role, driving impactful initiatives that address pressing social issues. Ariba Naim has a Postgraduate degree in Social Work from Jamia Millia University, and brings over five years of extensive professional experience to the table.
