In the third season of the series, Kion trusts Fuli enough to let her lead the Lion Guard, thus making her the second-in-command.

The zebras panicked and ran, and the hyenas were about to reach them from the side. I tried to think, but I wasn't the best at planning. They outnumber us, so, if we try to take them out all together, they win, even if they aren't, as smart, as we are. If we try to take them out one by one, we will be too late. We wanna save all of the animals here. Guys, we gotta help them!
